Game 5 Recap: Flyers 2 Caps 0 (WSH leads series 3-2)

 Well here we are again as the Caps were unable to solve Michal Neuvirth as he stopped 44 shots, and the Flyers live to play another day as they were able to steal one at Verizon Center.

My Thoughts:

*The Caps didn't do much wrong, they outshot the Flyers 44-11, they played with energy and they threw everything at the net. However, Neuvy was great.

*I will say this the Caps did take too many penalties again, they had to kill off a double minor, and then some. The issue is the PK was great, but Ryan White scored on a lucky goal off Taylor Chorney's skate. The Flyers in essence didn't really score on Holtby, it was a goaltenders dual.

*The Caps had a lot of shots but I think they might need a little more traffic infant of Neuvy to score more on him.

*At least the Caps didn't turn down as many shots last night as they have in other games, its just frustrating that it appears they are facing a hot goaltender again.

*After winning 3 in a row it is disappointing that the Caps have lost 2 in a row. However, they aren't the only team to have that happen to them. They now have to face the ghosts of playoffs past. If they want to be viewed as a different team they need to prove it, plain and simple. Thats all I have to say.
