Postgame Recap: Stars 4 Caps 2

The biggest home stand of the season for the Caps is not going so well. As the team took a night off and let the Stars control the game from the get go. Here are the highlights.

Caps/Stars:

My Thoughts:

*Evgeny Kuznetsov had a goal and assist and that was one of the very few positives last night.

*Curtis Glencross scored again, Glencross has been really good in my opinion and the move my BMac seems to be paying off.

*The Hershey Bears beat the Binghamton Senators 2-1 with goals from Chris Brown and Casey Wellman. The Bears are in 2nd place in the Eastern Conference and only one point out of 1st. For Highlights copy and paste this link.

*Overall when it comes to the Caps they need a better effort period. This is not the time of year to take games off. That's Adam Oates hockey, not what Barry Trotz wants. Last time Trotz had to lay into them they played better. It's simple either they play hard or Trotz will send them somewhere else. This team has shown this season that they are better than this. I know Orpik and Beagle where out but that's an excuse. Boston is closing in and they come into town tomorrow. The Caps have to respond.
