Pregame Notes: Washington Capitals vs. Carolina Hurricanes

The Caps are back home before a 3 game road trip this week. They are comin off their biggest win of the season in New York. Here is the lineup for tonight's tilt with the Canes.

Other Notes:

*Jay Beagle remains out with an injury but he will make the trip with the team up North. 

*Dimitry Orlov has been playing in Hershey and could join the Caps at some point. Orlov has been out all season after getting hurt in the World Tournament.

*Evegeny Kuznetsov will stay on the line with OV.

*Alex Ovechkin will have a chance to get goal number 50 on the season. OV is running away with the Rocket Richard trophy race.

*Overall this is a game the Caps should win. The Canes are out of the playoff race and if the Caps show up they will win. They absolutely need to win tonight
