Pregame Notes: Washington Capitals vs. Winnipeg Jets

The Caps are back home after a successful road trip taking 3 of 4 games. The Jets are like the Caps as they too are fighting for a playoff spot. Here is the lineup.

Other notes:

*Evgeny Kuznetsov has played very good hockey lately. In my my opinion he is getting more comfortable in the NHL.

*Braden Holtby will be right back in the net after another great game in Pittsburgh.

*Andre Burakovaky has also played well recently and will stay with Alex Ovechkon and Nick Backstrom on the top line.

*Alex Ovechkin has been a beast of late and if he continues that then the Caps will make a good push down the stretch.

*Joel Ward got back in the goal column on Tuesday, that third line can be a difference maker. 

*Overall with 24 games left the Caps are in a good position. However, they need to continue playing with ergency. Will have a good test tonight with the up and coming Jets.
