It's Official! Winter Classic to be played at Nationals Park

  Two days ago this leaked out and today it became official. The 2015 Bridgestone Winter Classic will be played on New Year's day at Nationals park. We knew it would be here in D.C between the Caps and Blackhawks. However, after it looked like Fedex Field and RFK Stadium were considered the decision was on Nats Park.

  My opinion is this was a no brainer because it is very easy for fans to get on the metro from all over the D.C area to get to the game. As well as the parking that is at the park to begin with. Fedex Field is too big and not in the city, and RFK is just getting old and falling apart. This is going to be a fun event that I can't wait to see.
